Just like every year, my friend Carrie and I combined efforts for our daughters' birthdays and had one big party. This year was AMAZING, and it was mostly due to Carrie's incredible hard work. Seriously - she's awesome. She orchestrated all the decorations, all the food and her family took care of the cakes, too. All I did were some party favors and one of the games.
We held it at the church ballpark like we did last year. We decided it was more intimate than the splash pad and more comfortable for all the adults involved - no strangers, more shade, and MISTERS and FANS in the ramada!
The good/bad news about this year was that Carrie had her baby just days before the party! Thus, she was banned from attending by her entire family. We missed having her there! But her presence was certainly felt by all the awesome stuff she contributed. I'll post pictures later and then narrate the party through them. :)
Cool thing: Bekah had all 4 grandparents at her party. I'm really glad that my parents and Daryn's all took the time out of their day to come down for the party - Bekah was thrilled. Also, that's when Daryn's parents gave us the Expedition. Yay new car!
